Despite the corona-crisis Pontum is still working as usual, and we have made huge progress with the beer canning unit. Below you can see pictures of the whole process.

At first we have the infeed with two stage pusher for careful handling of cans:

The filling heads close the cans in an innovative way making it possible to fill with counter pressure up to 2 bars:

The lids are put on immediately after filling (with optional CO2 jetting) just like caps on our bottles with our proven low levels of DO:

Cans pushed out of the FK:

Lid arm picks up new lids:

After that the cans continue to seamer:

We have just assembled the seamer:

Lastly cans are fed out on table for easy packaging, prepared for gripping devices handling a full tray of cans:

We will update you on continued work with the beer canning unit and the progress we are making!
